Sligo Fire Service attended the scene of a fire at the ‘old’ building at Summerhill College yesterday.
The call was received at 9.10pm with three units from Sligo, Ballymote and Tubbercurry bringing the fire on the top floor and attic under control.
Circular Road remains closed to traffic this morning.
The scene is preserved for a technical examination and investigations are ongoing.
