Leitrim Council will not be introducing paper and plastic and paper recycling at bring banks

Donegal County Council provide map to outline Christmas services and events

Leitrim Council will not be introducing plastic and paper recycling bins at the county's bring bank centres.

Confirmation came following a proposal to introduce additional bins by Cllr Caroline Mulvey at the April Ballinamore Municipal District meeting.

Cllr Mulvey argued there was a real need for the new recycling bins but Council management stressed that paper and plastic recycling collection is carried out as part of the kerbside collection service.

Anyone not availing of this service or those who have additional items for recycling, can do so at the county's two amenity sites - Mohill and Manorhamilton - added the Council spokesperson.
