The Leitrim Easter Commemoration was held on today, Sunday. Starting in Drumsna a full Colour Party and the Kiltubrid Pipe Band proceeded to Jamestown cemetery.
Wreathes were laid on the grave of Carrick on Shannon Volunteer Tommy Gilroy, of the Arigna Flying Column, and on that of Volunteer Michael Gill from, Corlara, Kilmore who was murdered by British Crown Forces outside McLoughlins Bar, Drumsna, in September 1920. Martin Kenny TD addressed the assembly in Jamestown Graveyard.
