Gardaí have confirmed that a search for a missing teenager last seen in Leitrim has now ended.
Alex Byrne Kenna, 15 years, who was missing from Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim since Thursday 5th September 2024, has been located.
Gardaí say no further media action is required.
"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter," a garda spokesperson said.
The youth was one of two teenagers reported missing from Leitrim in the past week, sparking a missing persons appeal for both.
