Deaths in Leitrim
Maureen McPartland (née McKeon), Cherrybrook, Manorhamilton, Leitrim - Maureen McPartland (nee McKeon) Cherrybrook, Manorhamilton Co Leitrim. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Michael. Sadly missed by her daughters Patricia (Frank), Sheila (John), grandchildren Laura, Katie, Oisin, Stephen, Shauna, Aoife. Her brother Padraig, sisters Dympna and Sheila, nieces, nephews,relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal to St Clare's Church, Manorhamilton on Sunday to arrive for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to North West Hospice, Sligo.
Elizabeth (Lily) Cooke (née Harahan), Gortermone, Carrigallen, Leitrim, H12 YF89 - Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her Husband Paddy, son Mel, granddaughter Aisling and brother James. Sadly missed by her loving family sons, Sean, Ciaran, Hugh (USA), Seamus, Gabriel, Cyril, Fintan (USA) and Aidan, daughters Margaret and Kay Evans (Navan), sisters Sr. Eileen, Sr.Bernadette, Anna Mollahan, Patsy Vaughan and brother Mel, sister in law Sr. Kathleen Cooke, brother in law Noel, daughters in law Mary, Deirdre, Karen, Aisling, Anne and Eilish and son in law George and 18 adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at her residence (H12 YF89) on Sunday from 5pm until 8pm. House private at all other times please except for family close friends and neighbours. Removal from her residence on Monday morning to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Carrigallen for funeral mass at 11am burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Pauline Gallagher (née Fitzsimons), Glasnevin, Dublin / Rooskey, Leitrim - Gerrard’s Cross, Buckinghamshire and formerly of Glasnevin, Dublin. Peacefully, at home on May 12th 2023, in the care of her loving family. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Charles. Loving mother of Brian, Peter, Yvonne, Charles, David, Andrew, Daniel, Avril and Matthew. Sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Reposing at Sheahan's Funeral Home, 71 Upper George’s Street, Dun Laoghaire, A96 CT95, on Tuesday, May 23rd, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Tuesday evening, May 23rd, to The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, arriving for 5pm. Requiem Mass at 10am Wednesday May 24th 2023. Followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. In place of flowers, donations to The Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless People, 29 Bow Street, Dublin D07 FC78
