Planning approved for new fire station in Manorhamilton

Approval for the Part 8 planning application submission for the new fire station in Manorhamilton has been granted recently, a meeting was told in the town this week. 
Councillors were told that design consultants are now progressing with the next stage of the project deliverables. 
The information came to light after a motion put forward by Cllr Frank Dolan at the Manorhamilton MD meeting. 
Mary Quinn, Director of Services, Housing, Corporate Services, Community and Cultural Services, explained that now the planning has been granted by An Bord Pleanála, "the detailed design is now required and then it will go the department for sanction and then go for tender and back for approval."
