Mohill climbed to the summit of Leitrim Club football when they claimed their ninth Connacht Gold Leitrim Senior Football Championship title last Sunday in Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada thanks to a 2-10 to 0-14 victory over 2022 champions St Mary's Kiltoghert.
It was redemption for Mohill after losing last year's decider as goals from Jordan Reynolds and Man of the Match Ronan Kennedy proved crucial in an enthralling contest as Eamonn O'Hara's side regained the Fenagh Cup for the first time since 2020 and the fourth time in the past 11 campaigns.
St Mary's also lost their grip on the Newtowngore Engineering U17 Division 1 championship when a powerful Allen Gaels Fenagh St Caillins side defeated them 3-16 to 3-9 in Saturday's Final in Mohill.
Mohill celebrations were long and loud in Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada as the four in a row Connacht Gold Leitrim SFC finalists got their hands back on the Fenagh Cup after an epic 2-10 to 0-14 victory over defending champions St Mary's Kiltoghert on Sunday.
