Leitrim team to take on London named

Melvin Gaels Cillian McGloin and Glencar Manorhamilton's Evan Sweeney have both been named to start Sunday's Allianz NFL Division 4 clash against London after manager Andy Moran named his Leitrim team for the game in Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada.

Both players were originally named to start against Waterford but were replaced before the throw-in with Annaduff's Conor Reynolds and Fenagh St Caillins' Donal Wrynn coming on, McGloin failing a late fitness test.

London have also named their team for the game with manager Michael Maher making two changes with North London Shamrocks' Patrick Dolan and Round Towers' Cathal Lacey replacing Aidan McLoughlin and Joshua Obahor, Obahor dropping to the bench.

Leitrim opened the 2024 Allianz NFL Division 4 campaign with a 2-17 to 1-5 victory over Waterford last Sunday in Fraher Field Dungarvan while London went down to a 1-13 to 1-9 defeat at the hands of visitors Wexford in McGovern Emerald Park in Ruislip.
