Mohill will host the first Eirgrid Connacht U20 B Championship Final on Saturday, April 27, after Connacht GAA announced that the battle between Leitrim and Mayo will take place at Philly McGuinness Park at 4pm.

Leitrim have already beaten Mayo in this year's competition, 3-12 to 0-16 in Ballinamore, and they will seek to win a place in the All-Ireland B series when the game is held at the ground named after the former Mohill and Leitrim player who tragically passed away after an accidental collision in a club game in April 2010.

The winners of the Philly McGuinness Cup would go forward to take on the Ulster winners in an All-Ireland Semi-Final on the weekend of May 11-12, in an All-Ireland Semi-Final with the final a week later, which could mean a potential headache for Andy Moran if Leitrim were to advance over Mayo in terms of selection as the first two rounds of the Tailteann Cup will also be held on those two weekends.

Leitrim's potential opponents in Ulster as the three teams who did not advance to the knockout stages - Antrim face Fermanagh on Monday April 22, in the semi-final with Down awaiting the winners a week later. In Leinster, Longford host Carlow next Tuesday April 23, in the Andrew Corden Cup Semi-Finals while Wexford take on Carlow in their final four.

Leitrim's clash with Mohill could provide a headache for panelist Brian Goldrick as the Leitrim Gaels clubman is also a member of the County Hurling side who take on Longford in the Lory Meagher Cup in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park at 1pm on the same Saturday.
