BREAKING: Leitrim to face Roscommon again in TG4 All-Ireland IFC Quarter-Final

Leitrim will face provincial rivals Roscommon once again in this year's championship after the Connacht counties were drawn to face each other in Monday's TG4 LGFA All-Ireland Intermediate Championship draw.

Leitrim, who booked top spot in their group on Sunday with a 0-17 to 0-10 victory over Wicklow in Roundwood, will have home advantage for the tie which takes place on Sunday June 30, the game presumably fixed for Ballinamore's Pairc Sheain Ui Eslin.

Should Jonny Garrity's side prevail against Roscommon, they will face the winners of the Wexford v Westmeath clash in the All-Ireland Semi-Final on Sunday July 14.

Leitrim defeated Roscommon in a high scoring Connacht Final in May on a 3-12 to 0-19 scoreline in Kiltoom with the Roscommon women subsequently losing narrowly to Wexford before clinching their place in the Group stages with a 5-11 to 0-4 victory over Antrim, who were relegated from Division 3 in the League having beaten Leitrim in the 2023 Division 4 Final.

The full TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship quarter-final draw is as follows:

  1. Down v Monaghan
  2. Wexford v Westmeath
  3. Clare v Tyrone
  4. Leitrim v Roscommon

(First team named in each instance with home advantage and full fixture details to follow - ties due to be played on Sunday June 30)

Semi-finals: Winner QF 1 v winner QF 3 Winner QF 2 v winner QF 4 - Semi-finals to be played on Sunday July 14
