Leitrim GAA Centre of Excellence will host its first ever Senior Inter-County official fixture on Wednesday, January 3, when Roscommon are the visitors for the opening round of the FBD Insurance Connacht League.
Connacht GAA have released the venues for next Monday’s pre-season competition and Green & Gold fans will have some interesting destinations with Annaduff joined by Ballinamore, McHale Park and Clonbur off in Connemara on the list of venues.
Leitrim will host Roscommon on Wednesday January 3, at 7 pm at the Leitrim GAA Centre of Excellence for the first game of the year with Ballinamore’s Pairc Sheain Ui Eslin hosting the meeting with Sligo four days later on Sunday, January 7, at 2pm.
Leitrim footballers will then have a trip to McHale Park in Castlebar on Wednesday January 10, for the meeting with Mayo, also at 7 pm, while the FBD League will end with a visit to Clonbur in Galway on Sunday, January 14, also at 2pm.
