Aughawillan were crowned Leitrim Senior Championship winners for a twelfth time yesterday when they defeated Mohill in a dramatic final in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.
There were great scenes of celebration as players, management and supporters toasted their victory in Pairc Sean immediately after the final whistle while team manager Tommy McCormack said the win is already being spoken about as the club's greatest.
After the final the team made the return journey to Augahwillan and as they passed through Ballinamore there were further scenes of joy and celebration.
