As fans in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada celebrated or drowned their sorrows in the aftermath of Sunday's Connacht Gold Leitrim Senior Championship Final, fans and spectators from near and far gave their thoughts on the days action and an incredible third title in five years for Aughawillan.
Twitter, Facebook and instagram were full of posts congratulating the newly crowned champions and commiserating with Mohill.
Massive Congrats. Gary Plunkett has had some year. Enjoy the celebrations

Gary plunkett? Was he wearing number 8? I thought he was class. Number 11 is a serious operation on the ball as well. Enjoyed my first Leitrim county final day...some great football played. Congratulations @AughawillanGAA

Working away and listening to @RTEgaa as the scores from the county finals come in. The club names are like a special poetry. Imokilly, Aughawillan, Ballyhaunis, Tooreen, Kilanerin, Shelmaliers, Abbeylara, Mullinalaghta, Tourlestrane. All thanks to our beautiful native language.

Well done Aughwillan @LeitrimGAA Tommy McCormack’s record of never losing a County Final as a manager or player continues!

Tough to lose county final but @MohillGAA will rise again. Tonight however belongs to @AughawillanGAA. As the brother Karl said, Willies won in 14, 16 & 18, each final underdogs against 3 towns. Never underestimate them, an unbelievable club, about a population of 400. Respect.

travelled from Cavan border to day through Leitim,Sligo, GAA is alive & well in those counties-Fenagh,Aughawilliam etc, bonfires for Tourlestrane who beat Tubbercurry, this is real heart of GAA,neither county likely to win Sam but stay the course all the time & need more praise
