Having been a representative before as TD, Senator and Councillor, I have the political experience, combined with a background in family business to represent the people of Leitrim and the constituency again.
I have an understanding of the matters that are of concern to this region, its communities and its people.
The need for strong, compassionate and effective representation has never been more important. I commit to representing this region with hard work and integrity.
I am keen to assist the people of Leitrim by ensuring that the Carrick on Shannon bypass progresses, that rural communities and farmers are supported, that Carrick on Shannon gets a new primary school, that forestry is managed appropriately and that towns and villages across Leitrim are supported to thrive.
In addition I want to see more people living in Leitrim by supporting housing development and making the cost of living easier for people. I want to see cheaper childcare and better supports for our carers, people with disabilities and funding for our health services.
