Join us in Drumshanbo as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of An Tóstal Festival!
Introducing an exciting lineup of events and acts, 2023 is guaranteed to be bigger and better than ever, with fun for all the family!
Jay O’Dee is opening the festival on Sunday July 2nd with a live show on the street and back by popular demand, we will have ‘The Tumbling Paddies’ closing out the festival on July 8th.
Kicking off on Sunday 2nd July with music by Jay O’Dee on the street from 3pm and the Parade from 4pm.
Opening our Festival this year, we have local entrepreneur and gin genius PJ Rigney and his wife Denise.
The festival will be led by Kiltubrid Pipe Band and we will have the Crowning of our 2023 An Tóstal Colleen, Megan Moran.
We would like to thank our 2022 Tóstal Colleen Niamh McNamara for all her help over the past year.
After the parade, we will have entertainment with the hilarious duo Johnny and Molly, in the car park.
On Monday 3rd July, An Tóstal Festival in conjunction with the Shed Distillery are delighted to host a Cocktail Masterclass in the Honey Badger Bar at The Shed Distillery at 7pm.
Come along and learn how to make delicious cocktails and hear the extraordinary story of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin.
Guests will be invited to sit back and relax in the majestic greenhouse while an expert mixologist serves up some delicious cocktail samples. You can then relax and unwind with a refreshing Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin & Tonic.

Tuesday 4th July, we are hosting a free event in the Mayflower Centre, a children’s cinema showing the ever popular ‘Peter Rabbit 2’. Doors open 6.30pm. Film starts at 7pm.
Wednesday 5th July, back by popular demand is our Drive-In Bingo at 8pm in the Mart car park. Jackpot on the night is a whopping €500 with lots of spot prizes to be given away.
Thursday 6th July, the week just gets better and better as we head down to the Mayflower Community Centre for the very popular play ‘The Ballad of Mossy Flood’ by Seamus O’Rourke, doors open at 7.30pm. Show starts at 8pm. Tickets €15.00.
Friday 7th July, we have the fabulous Johnny Brady for a free open-air event on the street from 9pm to 11pm.
We finish off the week with something for everyone on Saturday 8th July with a jam-packed day of fun for all the family with a fun day in the Peace Park (behind Arás Padraig) from 1pm to 4pm.
On the day we will have a fantastic and ever popular ‘Showcase of local art and crafts’ with various stalls and displays. Corvenieos will put on a show. There will be face painting and a Bonny Baby competition. This is a free event so please come along for a lovely day out.

Saturday 8th July, we finish off our festival with ‘The Tumbling Paddies’! They will perform in accordance with their support act ‘Ruby Rua’ a free music gig on the street on Saturday 8th July from 8pm – 11pm with a fabulous Fireworks display immediately after.
To have a 70th Anniversary is a huge achievement for the Committee, and we thank all who support the festival in any way. It’s a festival of fun, music, games and something for everyone to enjoy, so come along and join in the activities!
