Strokestown Park is thrilled to invite families to a captivating event filled with imagination and excitement. On Saturday, July 29, from 12pm to 6pm, the Victorian Walled Gardens of Strokestown Park will transform into a haven of play, creativity, dance, connection, and discovery for children.
The event will feature an array of engaging activities for children and their families, live shows by the renowned Custard Pie Puppet Theatre. Face painting, balloon modeling, and games will be offered by the award-winning Discovery Playtime, led by Mireia Lopez, an esteemed primary school teacher and educational psychology expert.
Get ready to groove with Kidisco, a high-energy interactive dance party where kids can follow dance routines, sing on the mic. With a real DJ spinning a blend of classic disco hits and current chart-toppers, Kidisco promises to keep the little ones and grownups of all ages entertained.
Nature enthusiasts will have the opportunity to connect with the outdoors through Mud Bugs, an adventure-filled experience that combines play, crafts, and nature exploration. Children will be immersed in the wonders of the natural world, fostering a sense of magic and appreciation for the seasons and wildlife.
For children with additional needs, a dedicated sensory play area will be available, providing a quiet space for relaxation and unwinding. FunFest is committed to inclusivity and ensuring that all families can fully enjoy the event.
Food vendors, Roscommon County Library Service's Mobile Library and Sensory Unit, Roscommon Sports Partnership, and more will also be present, making it a day full of entertainment and delights for everyone.
