Seamie O'Dowd
Summer Rambling House series of events continues at the Coleman Music Centre, with Leonard Barry, Declan Folan and Seamie O'Dowd performing live on August 9 at 8pm.
Leonard Barry, from North Kerry, first met Declan Folan from South Sligo in London in the early 1990s, where they played music together on the traditional music scene. They have shared the stage and recorded with many music greats, including Kevin Burke, Dervish, John Spillane, Luka Bloom and Lisa O'Neill, amongst many others.
Sligo's own Seamie O'Dowd is described as a musical genius; Seamie O'Dowd's love of tunes and instruments has taken him across the globe and earned him the respect of fellow musicians and traditional music fans.
