Croghan Community Choir performs at The Dock

On Saturday, 25th November, the fabulous folk of the Croghan Community Choir, also known as Lyrical Locals, will take to the stage at The Dock for the first time, promising an unforgettable evening performance.

These two music-filled shows promise to be musical celebrations of the wonderful and abundant local talent in the surrounding areas of Croghan, Drumlion and Cortober.

The matinee concert takes place at 2pm followed by the evening performance at 7pm.

The Croghan Community Choir was formed last year and has become an instant success, with almost thirty members ranging in age from teenagers to grandparents.

The community choir has joined together for these two concerts with local singers, musicians and a specially formed traditional music group to bring the finest entertainment to audiences.

It was the huge level of talent from within the choir that inspired the idea for these two concerts that will showcase the many outstanding singers and musicians from the community while at the same time raising funds for the local hospice.

Expect an eclectic mix of music from folk to Abba, from traditional Irish to Bruno Mars, and there will be something for everyone.
