Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton
Cllr Sean McDermott asked if signage can be provided indicating the location of Our Lady's Hospital in Manorhamilton.
Speaking at the latest Manorhamilton MD meeting, he said that more services are now being provided at this hospital and there are more service users coming from Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, Sligo and West Cavan.
Cllr McDermott said, "People from these areas are coming to Manorhamiton on a regular basis to use the services and some of them are older and especially the first time when they come, they don't know the location and find it very hard to get to the hospital."
He said he understood there are around 13 different services being provided at the hospital on a daily basis.
A report by the Roads office said that signage for Our Lady's Hospital will be reviewed to see if enhancements can be made to improve accessibility for the public and service providers.
Cllr McDermott was backed by his fellow members.
