Leitrim For All encourages people to sign its open letter welcoming refugees and asylum seekers

Leitrim For All encourages people to sign its open letter welcoming refugees and asylum seekers to the country.

“We wish to address a matter of great importance: the inclusion and support of asylum seekers and refugees who now call Leitrim home and welcome those yet to arrive.

“Our wonderful county has always been a place that values community, kindness and acceptance,” says the open letter.

Leitrim For All is a dynamic coalition of individuals and organisations committed to ensuring a warm and secure reception for new arrivals in our community, with a focus on those seeking asylum or refuge.

Leitrim For All spokesperson said: “We passionately champion inclusivity, understanding, and collaboration to establish an environment where diversity is not just acknowledged but celebrated, ensuring that everyone who lives here or who is a new arrival feels genuinely valued and embraced.

“Leitrim For All proudly stands as a non-partisan organisation, dedicated to fostering unity and belonging.”
