Leitrim area deaths – Wednesday, December 06

Frank 'Francie' Gilligan, Lurganboy, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

Frank (Francie) Gilligan, London, England & formerly of Lurganboy, Manorhamilton, peacefully in the loving care of his family.
Predeceased by his wife Bridie and parents Patrick and Agnes. Deeply regretted by his partner Mary, sons Christopher and Frank, daughter Susann, and brothers Sean and Seamus (Lurganboy, Manorhamilton). Sadly missed by his beloved grandchildren, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

James Joseph Boyle, Treanmore, Mohill, Leitrim / Falcarragh, Donegal

James Joseph (Jimmy) Boyle (retired Garda Sgt), Carrick Rd, Treanmore, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Falcarragh, Co. Donegal, in his 99th year, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Arus Carolan Nursing Home, Mohill, and surrounded by his loving family on December 04. Predeceased by his loving wife Bella, James will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons Michael (Lucan), James (Ballinamore) and John (Mohill) and daughters Mary (Reno USA) and Isobel (Mohill), sisters-in-law Celine Whelan (Rathfarnham) and Sr. Finnian (Ursuline Convent, Thurles), daughters-in-law Mary, Irene and Lisa, grandchildren, Paul, Adam, James, Peter, Aoibheann, Fiona, Peter, Johnny, Sarah and Harry and great-grandchildren Declan, James, Zara, Aera and Jack, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rose Mulligan (née Faughnan), Laheennamona, Mohill, Leitrim

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving Family. Predeceased by her loving Husband John, sisters Margaret and Mary, brothers Jimmy, Michael and Hugh. Rose will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Lorna, her adored grandchildren Danielle and Anthony, Lisa and Alan, Dillon and Rachel, and PJ, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
