50 Miles in January Challenge off to a flyer as Leitrim supporters urged to get walking & running in support of County teams

January 2024 started with a bang for Leitrim GAA and LGFA on Monday when the ever popular 50 Miles in January Challenge got off to a flying start with a special walk in Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada.

The 50 Miles in January Challenge, now in its fourth year, raised an astonishing €182,299 for Leitrim GAA and LGFA in 2023 and the 2024 challenge officially got underway on New Year's Day when representatives from the county's clubs attended a special one mile walk in the County grounds to get the year off to a flying start.

If you are interested in taking part in the 50 Miles in January Challenge, all you've got to do is sign up via the link on the  Leitrim GAA website (HERE) and activate your iDonate page. Then you join the 2024 50 Miles Challenge Facebook page (HERE) to check out how the Leitrim family all over the world are getting on in this unique fundraising challenge.

But you must  hurry if you want to get your hands on the 2024 version of the specially commissioned Leitrim GAA 50 Miles Challenge hat as  stocks are limited and going fast!

Organisers have set a target of €100,000 has been set with, at the time of going to press on Tuesday afternoon, €7,830 already raised by walkers from all over the world.
