New appointments in IFA - Patrick McCormick elected National Treasurer

The chair of Monaghan IFA Patrick McCormick has been elected National Treasurer of IFA. At this year's AGM, he was elected by members of the National Council for a four-year term.

Patrick McCormick said a well-resourced IFA is very important to carry out the work of the organisation in representing its members. He succeeds Martin Stapleton who has completed his four-year term.

John Curran from Kells in Co Meath is the new chair of the IFA National Rural Development Committee.

He succeeds Michael Biggins who has completed his four-year term.

Teresa Roche from Co Galway has been elected chair of the IFA Farm Family & Social Affairs Committee.

She succeeds Alice Doyle, who was elected IFA Deputy President last month.
