Leitrim area deaths – Friday, January 19

Beatrice Hallinan (née Moggan), Mohill, Leitrim / Tuam, Galway

The death has occurred of Beatrice (Bea) Hallinan (née Moggan), Mohill, Co Leitrim and late of Tuam, Co. Galway, suddenly, but peacefully, at Lough Errill Nursing Home, Mohill. Very sadly missed by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mick) and sister of Edward (Eddie), sister-in-law Bina, predeceased by her brothers Paddy, Seamus, Mickey, Liam and Charlie, sisters Kitty and Mary. Loving mother to Geraldine, Pamela, Martin and the late Tom, daughter-in- law Mary, son-in-law Dave, grandchildren Tanya (Niall), Tara (Martin), Siobhan, Michael and Sean, great-grandchildren Lorcan and Orla, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Sarah Gill (née O'Brien), Quay Street, Drumsna, Leitrim 

Peacefully surrounded by her family in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff at St. Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon. Predeceased by her husband Tom Pat, grandson Wayne, sisters Margaret, Nell and Lizzie, brothers Packie and Sean. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Joe and Tom, daughters Elaine, Ber and Liz, daughters-in-law Liz and Martina, son-in-law Seamus, cherished grandchildren Graham, Jennifer, Nicola, Claire, Andrew, Eoin, Amy, Aisling and Lorcan, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

James (Jimmy) Keegan, Cloonohill, Drumlish, Longford / Leitrim

Peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Bernie and Bridie. Deeply regretted by his sister Marian, brother-in-law Joe, niece Karen, nephews Rodger and James and extended family.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
