Sean Brennan - Carrick-on-Shannon / Rosses Point, Co Sligo
Sean Brennan, Glen Patrick, Cortober, Carrick-on-Shannon, peacefully on Monday, January 29th, at Roscommon University Hospital, formerly Castleknock, Dublin and Rosses Point, Co. Sligo. Predeceased by his brothers Danny and Gerald. Survived by his loving wife Ina, daughters Carol and Irene, his son Alan, sons-in-law Danny and Robert, daughter-in-law Valerie , grandchildren Thomas, Curtis, Bobby, Emily, Spencer, Sarah, Lola, Mila and Isabella, his sisters Patrica, Rosemary and Noreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing on Wednesday evening in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan from 6pm to 8pm with cremation service on Thursday, 1st February, at 11am in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Michael McGowan - Sandyford, Dublin / Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim
Michael McGowan, Sandyford, Dublin and formerly of Toothfield, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim on Tuesday, January 30th, peacefully, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital after a long illness bravely fought and while surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Josephine, cherished father of David and Stephen and much-loved brother of Maureen, Frank and the late Jim. Sadly missed and remembered by all his family, daughters-in-law Deborah and Elizabeth, grandchildren Peter, Isobel, Michael and Evelyn, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he Rest in Peace.
Michael will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7), on Friday evening (Feb 2nd) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning (Feb 3rd) to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village, arriving for 11am Mass, followed thereafter to Glencullen Cemetery.

Carmel Walshe - Collooney, Co Sligo / Glenfarne, Co Leitrim
Carmel Walshe, Markree, Collooney, Co. Sligo and formerly of Glenfarne, Co. Leitrim, on Tuesday, January 30th, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Saint John’s Community Hospital, Sligo. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Elizabeth Walshe, brothers and sisters Maureen (McGivern), Betty (Delaney), Kathleen, Michael and Joe. Dearly loved sister of Bertie (Navan), Christina McHugh (Longford), Eithne Hennelly (Sligo) and Margaret Gillen (Sligo). She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her brothers, sisters, brother-in-law Paddy Hennelly, sister-in-law Barbara, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at Saint John’s Community Hospital Chapel, Ballytivnan, Sligo F91H224 on Wednesday, January 31st, from 6pm until 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, February 1st, in Saint John’s Community Hospital Chapel, Ballytivnan, Sligo at 2pm, followed by burial in Saint Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney, Co. Sligo. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Saint John's Community Hospital Patient Comfort Fund via www.feehilys.ie/pay.

Padraig Watters - Dromahair, Co Leitrim
Padraig Watters, Drumlease, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim, on Tuesday, January 30th, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his mother Ellen and father Michael, sister Annamai and brother Gerard. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen. Loving father to Brendan and Keith, dearest grandad to Faye, Megan and Nicole, father-in-law to Noeleen, loving brother of Maura and Martina. Sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Sean and Tommy, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.~
Reposing at Fowley’s Funeral Home, Dromahair - F91 VC52 - on Wednesday, 31st January, from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday, 2nd February, at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Dromahair, burial afterwards in Creevelea Abbey new Cemetery. House private to close family and friends.

Breda McGarry - Rathfarnham, Dublin / Knockvicar, Co Roscommon
Breda McGarry (née Shivnan), Rathfarnham, Dublin / Knockvicar, Co Roscommon on Sunday, 28th January, peacefully, in the care of Tallaght University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Paddy and mother of Áine, Stephen and Kevin. Very sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Aisling, mother of Liam, Laoise and Rian. Kathleen mother of Finn, Maya and Silke, brother Micháel, sister Fionnuala, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Reposing in Fanagan's Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham Wednesday 31st January 2024 between 5 pm and 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday 1st February in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham at 10 am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross. Family flowers only.

Mary McGee - Ballinamuck, Co Longford
Mary McGee (née Gray), Edenmore, Ballinamuck, Co Longford, peacefully on Monday, 29th January. Predeceased by her parents, her husband John, sisters Bridgie, Nellie and Martha, granddaughters Gemma and Martina and by her great-grandson Luke. Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Kathleen Younes, Mary Cox , Ita Flood, Eithne Bessam and Ann Maguire, sons P.J., John F., Martin and Donal, sisters Jo and Janey, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Wednesday from 4.00pm concluding with prayers at 6.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday in St. Mary’s Church, Legga at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Legga Cemetery.

Betty Kean - Dunsany, Co Meath / Glangevlin, Co Cavan
Betty (Elizabeth) Kean (née McGovern), Galtrim, Dunsany, Co Meath, formerly of Glangevlin, Co. Cavan, peacefully, on Monday, 29th January, at Dunboyne Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Betty, predeceased by her loving husband Charlie, grandson Arthur John and her siblings. Loving, mother of Arthur and Joe, nana to Alison and Paul, and mother-in-law to Barbara and Mary. Sadly missed by her family, sister-in-law Eileen, her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the home of her son Joe, Galtrim (C15 CP84) on Thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Mass at 11 am on Friday morning in the Church of the Assumption, Kiltale (C15 R673), followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Josephine Kelly - London / Glencar, Co Leitrim
Josephine Kelly (Mally) nee Kerrigan, London and late of Gortnagregory, Glencar, Co Leitrim on Friday, 26th January. Predeceased by her husband Albert. Deeply regretted by her sons Charlie and Denis, daughters Angela and Jennifer. Brothers Desmond (Glencar), Colm (London) and her sisters Patsy (Ward) Galway, Maria (London) nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral will take place in London at a later date. 

Lynda (Martha) Curr - Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim
The death has occurred of Lynda (Martha) Curr of Allenbrook, Drumshanbo Co Leitrim, formerly of Shearwater, Woking, Surry, England. My wife Lynda (Martha) was from a large wonderful family (Bystram) too extensive to name here, they all loved her dearly and will miss her as long as they live on. Sadly missed by her husband, Robert (Bob) and her two children, Stephen (Alfie), and Hannah. Seven grandchildren, Joseph, Luca, Finn, Taeya, Sunee, Felix and Laila. We are all lost for words to say how much she will be missed.  Funeral Arrangements Later.

Eleanor Gannon - Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon 
The death has occurred of Eleanor Gannon, Slí an Iarainn, Cortober, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon and formerly of Corbally, Elphin. Died peacefully on Thursday, 25th of January. Pre-deceased by her parents Josie and Helen and brother Noel. Eleanor will be sadly missed by her loving family, Sisters, Mary O'Connor (Cork), Bernadette Molloy (Drumshambo), Patricia O' Dowd (Croghan), Elizabeth O'Hara (Elphin) and brothers John (Elphin) and Joseph (London), Sister-in-law Helena, brothers-in-law Matthew, Joseph, Alo and Michael, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 31st of January, in St Michael's Church, Drumlion at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards to Drumlion Cemetery.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
