John Packie (J.P.) McKiernan, Unshinagh, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim, peacefully in the care of Ballinamore Nursing Unit on Sunday, 4th February. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Annie. Deeply regretted by his sister Rosaleen, cousin Annie, extended cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore N41 TD62, on Monday evening from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday in St. Mary’s Church, Aughnasheelin at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private, please.

Andy (James Andrew) O'Connor - Clane, Co Kildare / Drumkeeran, Co Leitrim
Andy (James Andrew) O'Connor, Clane, Co. Kildare and late of Drumkeeran, Co. Leitrim, on Sunday, February 4th 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 60 years to Maureen, loving dad to Ailish, Marie, Geri, Tina, Paula, Carmel, Claire and Séamus, sons-in-law Michael (Magic) [RIP], Stephen, Marc, John, Brian, Paddy and Matt, daughter-in-law Louise, much loved granddad to Edel, Lauren, Grace, Fionn, Olivia, Lucy, Katie, Sophie, Charlie, Poppy, Milo, Freddie, Síofra and Colman, dear brother to Mary (USA) [RIP], Michael (USA), Pauline (Leitrim) and Eddie (Donegal), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Mary Murphy - Galway City / Kilnagross, Co Leitrim
Mary Murphy (née Earley), Upper Newcastle, Galway City, Galway, formerly of Costello Road and Drumgowla, Kilnagross, Co Leitrim, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of Brampton Care Home, Oranmore on Friday, 2nd February. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom and son Micheál and by her brothers Tommy and John and sister Rose. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her sons and daughters Seán, Liam, Siobhán, Padraic, Enda and Deirdre, sister Bridie, brother James (Canada), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Lovingly remembered by her fourteen adored grandchildren and great grandchild. Mary will also be missed by the extended Murphy and Earley family, kind neighbours and many friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Monday, 5 February, from 3.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary on Tuesday, 6 February, at St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road, Galway on arrival at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass Mary will be laid to rest with her husband and son in Bohermore cemetery.

Val McGovern - Acton, London / Corlough, Co Cavan
The death has occurred of Valentine (Val) McGovern, Acton, London and formerly of Legnaderk, Corlough, Co. Cavan on Tuesday, 23rd January. Pre-deceased by his partner Briggette, parents Pee and Hilda and brother Frank. Deeply regretted by his brothers Terry, Stephen, Brendan, Gerard and P.J. Sadly missed by his uncle Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Removal to Our Lady of The Visitation Church, 358 Greenford Road, Greenford, UB6 9AN on Sunday, 11th February, at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, 12th February, at 1pm followed by cremation at Mortlake Crematorium, Kew Meadow Path, TW9 4EN. 

Lynda (Martha) Curr - Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim
The death has occurred of Lynda (Martha) Curr of Allenbrook, Drumshanbo Co Leitrim, formerly of Shearwater, Woking, Surrey, England. My wife Lynda (Martha) was from a large wonderful family (Bystram) too extensive to name here, they all loved her dearly and will miss her as long as they live on. Sadly missed by her husband, Robert (Bob) and her two children, Stephen (Alfie), and Hannah. Seven grandchildren, Joseph, Luca, Finn, Taeya, Sunee, Felix and Laila. We are all lost for words to say how much she will be missed. Remains will leave her home at 9am on Wednesday, 7th February, 2024 to arrive at Pure Reflections Resomarium, Abbeyland, Navan, Co Meath for Resomation at 12 noon.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
