Leitrim Co Board GAA, in collaboration with Comhairle Contae Liatroma, has launched an exciting initiative aimed at promoting the Irish language among Leitrim's youth.
The organisations are offering substantial grants to boys and girls in the county for attendance at Gaeltacht courses.
As part of their commitment to supporting linguistic and cultural endeavors, Leitrim GAA is providing grants of €300 and €200 to eligible boys and girls who reside in Leitrim.
These grants will not only serve as a financial incentive but also as a means to encourage the community's younger generation to engage with the rich heritage of the Irish language.
The application process is accessible, with forms conveniently available on the official Leitrim GAA website at leitrimgaa.ie/gaeltacht. The closing date for applications is Thursday, March 1.
