Mark your calendars! Mike Denver returns to Landmark Live for an unforgettable night of country music with very special guests Philomena Begley and Ray Lynam on Thursday March 14th 2024.

Born and raised in the town of Portumna, Mike began performing from an early age, while continuously honing his craft and performing local shows to eventually become the entertainer he is today. His meteoric rise in popularity culminated with being awarded “Entertainer of the Year 2016” together with No 1 album of the Year “Cut Loose” at the ACMA Awards on RTE TV.

Joining Mike, at Landmark Live, is the Queen of Irish Country Music, Philomena Begley, the legend who needs little introduction! At the forefront of Irish Country Music for 60 years, Philomena’s glittering career has seen her achieve countless accolades and score dozens of No.1 hit songs, including “The Blanket on the Ground”,” Truck Driving Woman” and “The Queen of the Silver Dollar”. Philomena has performed on stages all over the world to legions of fans and appeared with Porter Wagoner on the Grand Old Opry in Nashville.

Mike and Philomena will be joined by their old pal, country singer, songwriter, guitarist and record producer, Ray Lynam. Starting out in the 1960s singing covers of Rolling Stones’ hits with The Merrymen, Ray joined the Hillbillies at the end of the ‘60s, and first made the Irish charts with ‘Sweet Rosie Jones’.

Long time friends, Ray and Philomena have had glittering careers, spanning over 6 decades at the very top. They have performed together since the 1970s, while at the same time, enjoying their individual successes. Their respective careers hit great heights and they have both had countless No.1 hits, while playing to packed houses in every hall, festival and theatre from Ireland to Tennessee.

Both Philomena and Ray have shared stages with the likes of George Jones, Tammy Wynette, and Charley Pride along with all the top Irish stars and are regularly heard on national radio on a daily basis. As friends, they have performed together on many many occasions over the decades.
