Clouds with outbreaks of rain and some clear spells are expected in today’s weather forecast

Monday, March 04, will be mostly dry to start, but clouds will continue to increase, and outbreaks of rain will spread across the province from the south in the late morning and afternoon. 

Becoming windy during the afternoon, with east-to-south easterly winds becoming fresh to strong and gusty. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.

TONIGHT: Windy, especially over the country's western half, with scattered rain outbreaks. Drier conditions and clear spells will slowly spread from the southwest towards morning. 

Light to moderate southerly winds will veer southwesterly overnight, increasing fresh to strong in Munster, Connacht and west Ulster. Lowest temperatures of -1 to +4 degrees in fresh to strong southerly winds, easing and veering westerly by morning.
