What is Youthreach?
Leitrim Youthreach is a Department of Education and Skills official education, training and work experience programme for young people who leave school early with few or no formal qualifications between the ages of 15-21.

What programmes are on offer?
l Leaving Certificate Applied – year 1 & 2
l QQI 3 in General Learning (equivalent to the Junior Certificate on the National Framework of Qualifications)
l Pathways Programme- QQI 4 in General Learning (equivalent to pass leaving certificate level on the National Framework of Qualifications aimed at supporting learners progress on to further education or apprenticeship pathways)
Where are you based?
Leitrim Youthreach is currently based in the Old Marian College in Mohill but will be relocating to the to the new MSLETB Further Education and Training (FET) campus in Mohill in the coming year. All learners are entitled to travel expenses and meal provisions are also catered for.
Is there a training allowance?
As Youthreach also sits under the Further Education and Training sector (MSLETB), subsequently learners aged 16-17 are entitled to training allowance of €45 per week, 18 years olds and over may be eligible for €240 per week. All learners are entitled to meals and travel provisions.
