Greenshine, a Cork-based RTE Folk Awards nominated trio consisting of Mary Greene, Noel Shine, and their daughter Ellie, returns to The Glens Centre, Manorhamilton, on Saturday, April 20, at 7.30pm.
Greenshine's music straddles the boundaries of Folk, Indie and Americana with outstanding harmonies, skilful instrumentation and critically acclaimed songwriting.
RTE's John Creedon said: "They have produced one great track after the next over the last few years."
Their latest album New Moon on Friday was awarded "Album of the Week" on many radio stations including BBC Scotland and BBC Ulster, while six singles from the collection were included on the RTE Radio 1 Recommends Lists.
Mary has been described as 'a songwriter like no other' by RTE broadcaster Sheelagh Dempsey, and her songs are 'heartfelt and inspirational' by Liam Murphy, arts correspondent of The Munster Express.
Noel and Mary have lent their talents to the recordings of other artists such as Christy Moore, The Republic of Loose, John Spillane and many more. Listen out for Ellie's voice on TG4's cartoon series Gus, An Ridire Beag Bídeach'.
Tickets for the concert are available from www.theglenscentre.com.
