The annual event supporting the work of North West Hospice embraced by community

The North West Hospice's Annual Memorial Walk took place on Sunday, April 14, in Doorly Park in Sligo.

Participants embarked on a picturesque 5km walk, tracing the tranquil path along the Garavogue River into the serene Doorly Park in Sligo, and despite the relentless rain, the event drew a remarkable turnout of supporters braving the elements in solidarity.

The annual event, now in its ninth year, promises a day of remembrance, community spirit, and vital fundraising to support North West Hospice's invaluable work.

A North West Hospice's Annual Memorial spokesperson thanked all those who supported the successful event, and participants, undeterred by the weather, walked alongside one another in memory of their loved ones.

The event, although dampened by the weather, was buoyed by a sense of community spirit and a shared commitment to supporting the North West Hospice.
