Rossinver's Organic Centre, and the first training centre of its kind in Ireland, was the ideal location for Leitrim Tourism Network's recent meeting.
The Network was established in 2014 and is a voluntary collective of tourism businesses in the county.
The role of the network is to support members' businesses, cross promote each other, liaise with statutory organisations and to reduce costs via bulk buying and group discounts.
As well as dealing with the business of the day, the attendees partook of a delicious breakfast provided by chef Matthew Cater of the Karma Cafe at the centre. Matthew's passion for food and fermentation was obvious through the delicious food on offer on the day.
Following the meeting, Stephen Campbell, manager of theOrganic Centre and Dervilla Keegan, marketing administrator took the participants on a guided tour of the gardens and polytunnel.
The sun was shining and the bees were buzzing which helped make the meeting a very successful one.
Any tourism related business in the county that is interested in joining can get more information by emailingleitrimtourismnetwork@gmail.com
