The maintenance works began today on the banks of the Lough Allen Canal between Drumhauver Bridge and Battlebridge.
The works to remove vegetation from the Canal will take place between 9PM and 5PM until Monday 23rd of December.
Those using the Canal and Blueway are urged to exercise caution with sections of the Blueway being closed intermittently during this time.
