The Dock to host tribute to Leonard Cohen

The Boyle Songwriters Collective and Teresa Glavin Trio will be presenting an evening of film and song in tribute to legendary singer-songwriter, Leonard Cohen.

The Dock Arts Centre, Carrick-on-Shannon will host a Leonard Cohen tribute night with Boyle Songwriters Collective and the Teresa Galvin Trio on Friday, October 21 at 7.30pm
The evening of film and song also includes a screening of 'I'm Your Man' the documentary film on the legendary singer-songwriter, which includes performances by those musicians he has influenced.
The evening starts at 7.30pm with a selection of Leonard Cohen songs, performed by members of the Boyle Songwriters Collective.
This is a group of locally based songwriters who meet in Boyle on a regular basis to discuss, encourage and share original material.
The Teresa Galvin Trio offer an entertaining and refreshing repertoire, which consists of Teresa's own original music interspersed with choice covers, spanning decades and crossing all genres. The trio comprises Teresa on guitar and vocals with Stephanie Pawula on percussion and Fionnuala Kennedy on double bass.
This promises to be an evening not to be missed and early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
