A young man from Corlough, Co Cavan just over the border from Leitrim has been missing for over two weeks.
Gardaí in Ballyconnell are appealing for the public’s help in finding Shane Dolan who was last seen on Sunday evening October 16, close to Bawnboy village.
The 28 year old is described as being 5 foot 8 inches in height, of slim build and of between 11 and 12 stone in weight, he has short, black hair.
Shane was last seen close to Bawnboy village on the evening of Sunday October 16 walking towards Ballyconnell.
He was wearing a fluorescent jacket and was carrying a green, Corlough GAA sports bag.
Gardai say Mr Dolan doesn’t have a mobile phone and has not accessed any bank accounts since his disappearance.
They are appealing to people who may have seen Shane Dolan, or who have any information on his whereabouts to contact them immediately on (049) 9526102.
