Leitrim auctioneer needs more properties to sell

A Leitrim auctioneer has put a call out for more properties to sell as he is finding that there are buyers out there but that stock is low.

Ballinamore auctioneer Gordon Hughes put out the call after selling a three bedroom home in Drumshanbo saying that there are bidders out there looking for similar properties especially in the Leitrim Village, Drumshanbo and Carrick-on-Shannon areas.

The property featured here at Drumduff North, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim came onto the market with an AMV of €159,950 and sold quickly.

Aiding the sale of the bungalow was the fact that it is in the much sought after location of Acres Lake Amenity Area and is ideally suited as a family home or retirement home. The property has also been recently decorated to a high standard throughout, allowing for immediate occupation, which is a plus in any buyers' books.

The landscaped garden has a great variety of mature shrubs and flower beds. Mature trees provide privacy and the feeling of living in the countryside yet this home is a short stroll or drive to the main town of Drumshanbo.

All of these assets proved highly attractive to buyers resulting in a quick sale. It also brought home that there are more buyers out there for these type of properties and Gordon is now putting his appeal out for potential sellers to get in touch.
