Recent deaths in the Leitrim area

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Martin and Sheila Candon, Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co Roscommon

Sheila Candon (nee smith) died  on November 15th peacefully, at the Plunkett Home, Boyle. Her husband Martin passed away on November 17th in Roscommon Hospital. Sadly missed by their daughters Phil, Maura, Sheila and Rose, sons Coman and Martin, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Sheila's sisters Nellie, Dympna and Nuala, brother-in-law Finbar, sister -in-law Rosemary, Martin's sisters Annie and Bridie,sister-in -law Stasia, extended family and friends.

Funeral mass for both Martin and Sheila at St.Joseph's Church, Boyle this morning Friday 18th at 11am. Burial afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. ​House private please. Family flowers only, donations in lieu Mayo/Roscommon Hospice or The Society of St.Vincent de Paul c/o Mahon's Funeral Directors, Boyle.

Sean Fitzpatrick, Main St, Killeshandra, Co Cavan

Sean Fitzpatrick (Publican), Main St. Killeshandra, Co. Cavan died today, November 16, at his residence surrounded by his family. Removal today, Friday 18th at 10.30am to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
