There’s plenty more fun promised at Carrick-on-Shannon’s Christmas Village this coming weekend – Sat 17th and Sun 18th Dec.
This weekend, there will be some live entertainment in addition to the Market Stalls, Santa’s House, Murray Amusements and Facepainting. Charlene Mulligan’s Hip-Hop Dance Troop will perform live on the Christmas Village stage at 3pm, followed by the ‘The Leitrim Blueway Ladybirds’. Aged just 5-7yrs, these tiny members of the Leitrim Brownie Group will entertain you with Christmas Carols on Saturday afternoon at 4pm. They are fundraising for their Brownie Group and also for their chosen charity, Leitrim Animal Welfare.
And then on Sunday afternoon at 4pm, Mary Mostyn and her Carrick Trad Group will entertain with Irish music and song.
There will be up on a 100 children performing on the day.
All children are invited to bring along a homemade Christmas decoration to hang on one of the beautifully illuminated trees at the Christmas Village.
