Weekend snowfall makes for stunning images but treacherous driving conditions

The heavy snowfall and wintry conditions that visited the county in recent days have resulted in difficulties for motorists attempting to negotiate the black ice and snow but the weather has been ideal for capturing the beauty of region.

Over the past few days numerous images have been posted on Twitter and Instagram showing the extent of the downfall in the locality.
