Figures released today by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 20 patients waiting on trolleys in Sligo University Hospital today.
Nationally the number of patients waiting on trolleys today was 506.
In Cavan there was one person waiting on a trolley while there were no figures available for Roscommon County Hospital today.
