Energy boost for North Leitrim

Energy Awareness Day in Manorhamilton on Friday June 8

Would you like to make your home or business more eco friendly or are you embarking on a building project?

If you would like to reduce your energy bills and hear some inspirational speakers such as climate ambassador Orla Nic Suibhne from Local Energy Communities then you need to be in Manorhamilton on June 8.

Then the North Leitrim Sustainable Energy Group (NLSEC) in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office Leitrim are having an Energy Awareness Day on Friday June 8, 3-7pm at the Beepark Centre Manorhamilton.

Chair of NLSEC and Community Energy Champion Award winner Seamus Dunbar said “This will be a great event for the county and region. With the emphasis on renewable energy and community owned energy solutions, this is an ideal opportunity for people to meet businesses and individuals in the sector and get valuable information. There will be members of Sustainable Energy Authority
Ireland on hand to answer queries also.”

There will be various stands with a sustainable energy theme, refreshments and a draw. This event is free and open to all. For further information email northleitrimsec@gmail.com
