Reduced train services to Leitrim during Summer

Reduced train services to Leitrim during Summer

Carrick-on-Shannon Train Station

A new summer time table for Irish Rail brings a reduction inservice to and from Carrick-on-Shannon and Dromod train stations.

The new timetable comes into affect from this Monday, June 25  and remains in place until Sunday August 26. All affected services will be reinstated from Monday, August 27.

The changes reflect reduced demand for some services during the summer period, and ensure that special trains for matches, concerts and other summer events can be provided within existing driver resources.
