The Drumkeerin/Dowra Rd (R200) remains closed this morning
The Drumkeerin/Dowra Rd (R200) remains closed approx halfway between the two villages following a collision that occurred last night, Sunday February 3 at approx 8.15pm.
Gardai said the single vehicle accident occurred about 3km from the village of Drumkeerin and a young man sustained serious injuries. The Leitrim Fire Service, Ambulance and Gardai attended the scene. The injured man is critical but stable and is in Sligo University Hospital.
The road is closed as the Garda Foresic Team investigate the accident and is not expected to re-open until after lunchtime today.
