Deaths in the Leitrim area - Friday, March 18

The following deaths have occurred in the wider Leitrim area:

Breege Coggins - Rathcormac, Co Sligo / Killargue, Co Leitrim

Breege Coggins (nee McTernan) Drum Road, Rathcormac, Co Sligo, formerly of Mullaghmore, Killargue Co Leitrim. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital on Wednesday, March 16. Predeceased by her beloved sisters Alice (Brennan) and Marian (McTernan). Will always be loved and remembered by her devoted husband Frank, her son Brendan, daughter Laura, daughter-in-law Joanne, her brothers Joe and Michael, her sisters Maureen (McGorrin) and Ann (O'Rourke) along with a wide network of nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Walk though only. House private at all other times. Removal to St. Colmcille's Church, Rathcormac on Saturday to arrive for requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Rathcormac cemetery. Family flowers only please. Annie O'Hara - Ballinaglera, Co Leitrim

Annie O'Hara (née Gilraine), Tullyvacan, Ballinaglera, Co Leitrim, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Ballinamore care unit in her ninety fourth year. Predeceased by her parents Molly and Patrick Gilraine, her husband Paddy, sister Bridget Conway, bothers Paddy, Jimmy and Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, son John (Johnny) (Belturbet), daughter Maureen Murray (Leitrim Village), daughter in law Goretti, son in law Jim, sisters Mary Agnes and Kathleen (based in New York, U.S.A.), grandchildren Tony, Stephen, Aine, Caroline and Patricia, great-grandchildren Lilly, Luke, Kate, Lauren and James, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Requiem mass on Friday on 18th March, at 12 noon in St. Hugh’s Church, Ballinaglera followed by burial in Fahy cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to Ballinamore care unit.  
  
Donal Hamrogue - Castlegal, Co Leitrim

Donal Hamrogue, Derryduff, Castlegal, Leitrim at Sligo University Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, brother Sean, son Donal, daughter in law Pauline, granddaughters Shauna, Alannah and Caoimhe, great-grandson Jake, daughter Mairead, granddaughter Roisin, son Colm, daughter in law Bernadette, granddaughter Alexandra, his sisters in law, brother in law, all his extended family, neighbours and many friends. Arriving at St. Aidan's Church, Kinlough, on Friday (18th) morning for 11am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough. Donal's Funeral Mass can be viewed on Kinlough/Glenade Parish Facebook Page. 

Mary (Mae) McGuinness - Tarmonbarry, Co Roscommon

Mary (Mae) McGuinness (nee Egan), Clonmore, Tarmonbarry, Co. Roscommon, on March 15, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague, Co. Roscommon, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Thomas (Tommie), sisters and brothers. Very dear mother of Celine, Brendan and Tom, grandmother of Lisa, Grainne, David, Barry, Kate and Shane and great-grandmother of Aiden, Finn and Tommie. Deeply regretted by her daughter-in-law Joan, son-in-law Tom, Brendan's partner Ewa, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Removal from the residence of her son Brendan on Friday to The Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall, Rooskey Road, Tarmonbarry, to arrive for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by internment in Clondra Cemetery. Mass can be viewed via https://www.churchservices.tv/tarmonbarry

Padraig Fallon - Dysart / Boyle, Co Roscommon

Padraig Fallon, Gardenfort, Dysart, Ballinasloe, Co. Roscommon, and Forest View, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Monday, March 14th, 2022, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the home of his sister Maura and Aidan, Gardenfort. Sadly missed by his loving father James, mother Mary, sister Maura Thompson, brothers Seamus and Mícheál, brother-in-law Aidan, sister-in-law Emma, nephew David, nieces Muirne, Orla, Máiread, Eibhlin and Saoirse, uncles, aunts, inc. Sr. Mary, relatives, neighbours, and his many good friends.
Mass of the Resurrection will take place in St Brigid's Church, Curraghboy on Friday morning (March 18th) at 11 o'c with burial afterwards in Dysart Cemetery. 

Bridget Rose (Bridie) Norton, Ballinamuck, Co Longford

Bridget Rose (Bridie) Norton, formerly Ballinamuck, Co. Longford, passed away aged 83 years on 25th February at Kettering General Hospital after many years of ill health. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Eamonn, her sister Philomena, Gerard and all the family in Ireland and friends. Requiem Mass for Bridie will be held at Our Lady of Walsingham Church, Occupation Road, Corby on Friday, 18th March, at 10:00am followed by interment at Shire Lodge Cemetery.
