The inter urban Greyway Pilot Project, between Drumsna and Jamestown via the L-3656 in Roscommon, is being progressed by Roscommon County Council.
Roscommon County Council have announced that consultants have been appointed who are looking at the options selection and design. They are not at the stage of tendering for contractors, but a report is expected this month.
Cllr Paddy Farrell had queried the status of the project as there had been local talk that no contractors had expressed an interest in tendering. He was informed the project is still progressing. This news was welcomed by councillors.
