Committee members, Louise, Jimi, Marie and Sheila accepting the award.

Leitrim County Council has granted monies of €3,000 to Tullaghan Development Association.

The grant is to develop a website promoting Tullaghan and the Crossfield for tourism on the Wild Atlantic Way, and surrounding areas like Kinlough, and Glenade along with other North Leitrim Tourism Groups including the Organic Centre Rossinver, Sean MacDiarmada House, Kiltyclogher, The Castle Manorhamilton, Ballroom of Romance, Glenfarne and also will be used for the promotion of surfing and other activity based activities in the area along with information for community groups and visitors on things that are happening in the area.

Tullaghan Development Association is hoping that this will promote Tullaghan on the Wild Atlantic way, the only village in Leitrim on the Wild Atlantic way and the only coastal village in Leitrim, and will lead to an increase in rural tourism to increase economic activity within the area and county.

Tullaghan Development Association would like to thank Leitrim County Council and Councillor Justin Warnock in securing these funds.
