Roscommon, peacefully, on Monday, 10th October, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness bravely borne. Pre-deceased by her cherished husband Hugh; deeply regretted by her daughters Jacqueline, Elaine, Sharon, Fiona, Joanne and Niamh, sons Aodh, Fintan, Enda and Ultan, her brother Gerard, sisters Stasia and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Wednesday from 4 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by Removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in St. Coman’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Roscommon Palliative Care.

Maureen Conboy, nee Edgeworth, Rooskey, Co. Roscommon, on Monday, October 10th 2016, peacefully at the Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague. Predeceased by her husband Eamon, loving mother to Patrick, Gerard and Marie (Brady). Deeply regretted by her loving family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister-in-law, relatives and friends. Removal leaving her home today, Tuesday, to arrive at our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rooskey at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Cloonmorris Cemetery, Bornacoola.

Eileen Breen (nee Carty) Aughawillan, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, Ahascragh, Balliansloe, and formerly of Kilchreest, Loughrea, Co. Galway passed away on Sunday the 9th October 2016. Predeceased by her much loved husband Denis. Devoted and loving mother will be dearly missed by Mary, Caroline, Theresa, Helen, Denise & Catherine. Deeply mourned by her sisters Mary Kelly (Craughwell, Co. Galway), Bridget Mahoney (Kilchreest, Co. Galway) & Phil Fahy (Loughrea, Co. Sadly missed by his heartbroken son Joe, daughter Sarah, mother Myra, brothers Clive (Mullingar), Sean and Paul (both New York), uncles, aunts, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandniece, relatives and friends. Reposing at Brady's Funeral Home, Elphin, today, Tuesday (11th Oct.) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (12th Oct.) at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Elphin. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Last remaining survivor of the Carrickmakeegan tragedy of 1942. Predeceased by her husband Dermot. She will be sadly missed by her sister Alacoque and brother Brendan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her residence until today, Tuesday, at 12 noon. Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon. Burial afterwards in Oughteragh Cemetery, Ballinamore.

Mary (Maisie) McDermott (nee Smith) Fairgreen, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, beloved wife of the late Mel. Monday, October 10th, 2016, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff of Medical 1, Cavan General Hospital. Devoted Mother of Brian, Anna and Sean. Sadly missed by her loving family, her sister Vera Niblock, niece, nephew, her many friends in the caring profession, all her relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan on Tuesday evening from 5 pm concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet at 11am followed by burial in Annagh Cemetery.
