Casey survives another night but feels betrayed following Saints and sinners challenge

Carla went into Sunday night in need of a new traitor after throwing her traitor partner, Aoife, under the bus the day before.

She was looking for someone who could go “all the way to the final,” and decided to go for Pauric O, one of the lead faithfuls in the game.

His response: “Sign me up, kid!”

The new pair decided to murder Sam, a buddy of the new traitor Pauric.

In the morning, attention was on David; a slip of the tongue during the day, where he accidentally called himself a traitor, sealed his fate.

During the challenge, the players were split into saints and sinners: the sinners had to guess who the Traitors had put under each of the seven deadly sins, while the saints were offered a shield for 200 of the day's money, which would be added to the prize pot.

The Saints team decided that they would not take a shield in order to keep more money for the team. Leitrim’s Donal Casey was put amongst them and declined the shield.

Diago, on the other hand, said: “Ahh, fuck it, I will take the shield.”

Suspicion abounded after the news that someone broke the trust of the group.

“I just could not believe that one of these people had betrayed me,” said Casey.

The betrayal didn’t come up at the round table, hoiever when Pete opened up the round table by going after Janet for being too happy and excited after they found out Sam had been killed, while Pete had tears in his eyes.

After Janet explained that she wasn’t close to Sam, they went at it.

“Just because I didn’t have a wobble at breakfast”: Janet

“Calm down, ” said Pete, a famously good thing to say in an argument.

“No, I won’t calm down,” Replied Janet.

“When I stand up there and say that I am a faithful, you are going to look like a horrible person,” she added later.

By the end of the round table, it was down to Janet and David, with a resounding majority going with David.

The episode ended with suspicion towards Carla brewing, as Sean put two and two together and realised that Aoife was a pawn.

“Pay attention to Carla. She is playing a game,” He said to Ian in their parting hug.
