The Exoskeleton has been instrumental for those with mobility issues.
Over the August Bank Holiday the Step West campaign will launch a special event aimed at raising awareness and much needed funds.
On Friday, August 3, The Orchard Room in The Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon will host a special presentation on the Exoskeleton.
This invaluable technology offers those with limited mobility the opportunity to bring the Exoskeleton to the West of Ireland for people with limited mobility.
Doors open at 11am and the event starts at 12pm. Speakers will outline their experiences using the exoskeleton and information will also be provided on the clinical benefits of this equipment for MS, stroke and other patients.
Information will be given on the Step West fundraising campaign which aims to raise money to bring this technology to the West of Ireland and there will also be a live demonstration of walking in the suit.
Admission optional. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
